Description Eprazinone is a mucolytic.
In vivo Eprazinone 2HCl is a drug with proposed mucolytic, secretolytic, and bronchial antispasmodic properties. Eprazinone 2HCl improves pulmonary function and arterial pOO. Eprazinone also appears to have an antitussive and mucolytic effect. Eprazinone influences both bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BAL) lipid levels and ion transport. [1]
