Trypsin inhibition dose-response curves in the absence (black circles) and presence (red triangles) of detergent for (A) emodin.
ACS Chem Biol, 2015, 10(4):978-88. . Emodin purchased from Selleck.
Bioactive compounds inhibit recombinant HDAC activity. Recombinant HDACs were incubated with nonflavonoids (A) for 2 h prior to the addition of cell permeable HDAC substrates. Nonflavonoids (A) emodin inhibited activity of most classes I, IIa, and IIb HDAC isoforms.
Mol Nutr Food Res, 2017, doi: 10.1002/mnfr.201600744. Emodin purchased from Selleck.
A549 and H1299 cells were incubated with emodin at 0, 20, 40, 60 and 80 μmol/l for 72 h. The apoptosis of A549 and H1299 cells was detected by Hoechst staining. The Hoechst-positive cells (white arrows pointed) were recognized as apoptotic. The lower panel presents the apoptotic rate of A549 and H1299 cells incubated with emodin at different concentrations according to the results of Hoechst staining. *P<0.05.
Oncol Rep, 2017, 37(3):1565-1572. Emodin purchased from Selleck.
Effects of reductase inhibitors on the formation of TSI glucuronidation metabolites M3-1, M3-2 and M4 in HLMs (a). Data are presented as Mean ± SD (n ¼ 3). p < 0.01 and p < 0.05 compared to the control data without inhibitors.
Xenobiotica, 2018, doi:10.1080/00498254.2018.1432087. Emodin purchased from Selleck.

|In vitro||DMSO||54 mg/mL (199.82 mM)|
|Ethanol||2 mg/mL (7.4 mM)|
|In vivo||Add solvents to the product individually and in order(Data is from Selleck tests instead of citations):
8% DMSO+75% PEG 300+8% Tween 80+ddH2O
For best results, use promptly after mixing.
* Please note that Selleck tests the solubility of all compounds in-house, and the actual solubility may differ slightly from published values. This is normal and is due to slight batch-to-batch variations.
Calculate the mass, volume or concentration required for a solution. The Selleck molarity calculator is based on the following equation:
Mass (mg) = Concentration (mM) × Volume (mL) × Molecular Weight (g/mol)
*When preparing stock solutions, please always use the batch-specific molecular weight of the product found on the via label and MSDS / COA (available on product pages).
Calculate the dilution required to prepare a stock solution. The Selleck dilution calculator is based on the following equation:
Concentration (start) x Volume (start) = Concentration (final) x Volume (final)
This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2 ( Input Output )
* When preparing stock solutions always use the batch-specific molecular weight of the product found on the vial label and MSDS / COA (available online).

Definitions of molecular mass, molecular weight, molar mass and molar weight:
Molecular mass (molecular weight) is the mass of one molecule of a substance and is expressed in the unified atomic mass units (u). (1 u is equal to 1/12 the mass of one atom of carbon-12)
Molar mass (molar weight) is the mass of one mole of a substance and is expressed in g/mol.
Answers to questions you may have can be found in the inhibitor handling instructions. Topics include how to prepare stock solutions, how to store inhibitors, and issues that need special attention for cell-based assays and animal experiments.
