Sulfamerazine results in a marked evolution in the shape of the concentration-time curves in function of age, strongly suggesting a defective absorption rate in the first weeks after birth in lambs. This compound has a significantly beneficial effect on life span of rats and apparently increases that of male hamsters, and all rats fed this chemical attains higher maximum weights than their controls. |
