QX77, an activator of CMA, eliminates the effects of milk fat globule-EGF factor 8 (MFG-E8) on TGF-β1-induced human pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs) activation. This compound mitigates the suppressive effect of MFG-E8 on oxidative stress in activated PSCs.
