Eldecalcitol Vitamin inhibitor

Eldecalcitol(ED-71,2-(3-hydroxypropoxy)-1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3) is an orally active vitamin D₃ analogue that inhibits bone resorption while promoting bone formation, increasing bone mineral density, and is used clinically for osteoporosis. It also exhibits anti-tumor activity, inhibiting cancer cell proliferation and migration and inducing apoptosis, at least in part via suppression of glutathione peroxidase-1 (GPX1).
