Moracin O demonstrates potent in vitro inhibitory activity against hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF-1) with an IC50 value of 6.76 nM in a cell-based HRE assay. Moracin O attenuates reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation triggered by oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD). Moracin O also exhibits neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects.
