TI17 is an inhibitor of thyroid hormone receptor-interacting protein Trip13. This compound efficiently suppresses the proliferation of multiple myeloma (MM) cells and triggers cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Trip13, an AAA-ATPase involved in double-strand break (DSB) repair, is targeted by this chemical, leading to impaired function and heightened DNA damage.
