NSC622608 (VRC2) increases the expression of p53 in a dose- and time-dependent manner in wild-type p53-expressing MM cell lines, and induces the expression of p53 target genes P21, PUMA and NOXA to overcome proteasome inhibitors (PI) resistance.<sup><a class="sref" href="#s_ref">[1]</a></sup>
