ASP7663 is an orally bioavailable selective activator of transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1). This compound activates human, rat and mouse TRPA1 receptors with EC50 of 510 nM, 540 nM and 500 nM, respectively. It acts by stimulating 5-HT release from QGP-1 cells and exhibiting an abdominal analgesic effect in vivo.
