Aminopeptidases, a member of Zn2+-metalloenzyme including L-histidinol dehydrogenase and matrix metalloproteinases (MMP), is involved in the the formation of new blood vessels and can regulate the growth of tumor. Aminopeptidases can remove the NH2 terminal methionine of proteins and make a contribution of regulation of biologically active peptides. Aminopeptidases inhibitors can be antiproliferative effect on the different cell lines.
