Oltipraz is a potent Nrf2 activator and an inducer of Phase II detoxification enzymes, particularly glutathione S-transferase (GST). By facilitating Nrf2 nuclear translocation, it enhances the transcriptional activation of antioxidant response element-driven genes. This leads to increased intracellular glutathione levels and elevated expression of cytoprotective enzymes, thereby conferring resistance against oxidative stress and carcinogen-induced cellular damage. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
