Indoximod is an immunomodulatory methylated tryptophan derivative that acts as an indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) pathway inhibitor. It restores T-cell proliferation and effector function by reversing IDO-mediated immunosuppression and relieving tryptophan starvation. Consequently, this inhibition impairs regulatory T-cell suppressor activity, reactivates cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, and stimulates robust antitumor immunity in preclinical cellular and animal cancer models. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
