Guadecitabine sodium is a next-generation hypomethylating agent and dinucleotide prodrug of decitabine that targets DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1). Incorporation of guadecitabine into DNA inhibits DNMT1 activity, leading to progressive DNA hypomethylation and reactivation of epigenetically silenced tumor suppressor genes. Consequently, this hypomethylation suppresses cell proliferation and restores sensitivity to chemotherapeutic agents in preclinical cancer models.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
