Entinostat (MS-275) is an synthetic benzamide histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor that selectively targets HDAC1 and HDAC3. By inhibiting HDAC activity, Entinostat induces histone hyperacetylation, disrupting chromatin structure and regulating gene expression. This pathway modulation promotes downstream cellular responses including cell cycle arrest, autophagy, and apoptosis. In prostate cancer cell lines, Entinostat exerts dose-dependent growth inhibition in PC-3 and LNCaP cells, while triggering cell death in DU-145 cells. [1][2]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
