Y-320 is an orally active immunomodulator that inhibits IL-17 production by CD4 T cells stimulated with IL-15 with an IC50 of 20 to 60 nM. By suppressing IL-17 release, Y-320 modulates proinflammatory signaling pathways driven by helper T cells. This targeted inhibition decreases the expression of key inflammatory cytokines and attenuates auto-reactive immune responses in animal models of inflammatory disease.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
