VPS34 inhibitor 1 is a potent and selective inhibitor of vacuolar protein sorting 34 (VPS34), a class III phosphoinositide 3-kinase. By targeting VPS34 activity, it suppresses the synthesis of phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate, thereby disrupting autophagosome formation and endosomal membrane trafficking. Blockade of this lipid kinase pathway inhibits autophagic flux and alters endolysosomal dynamics, leading to impaired cellular vesicle transport and altered degradation processes.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
