Vadimezan (DMXAA) is a tumor vascular disrupting agent that functions as a selective agonist of mouse STING (stimulator of interferon genes). Activation of the STING pathway induces expression of type I interferons, particularly IFN-β, and downstream proinflammatory cytokines to stimulate antineoplastic immunity. Furthermore, Vadimezan promotes endothelial cell apoptosis and disrupts tumor microvascular blood supply, triggering hemorrhagic necrosis and inhibiting tumor growth. [1][2]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
