TVB-3664 is a potent, selective, orally active, and reversible inhibitor of fatty acid synthase (FASN). By targeting FASN, the compound suppresses de novo lipogenesis and cellular palmitate synthesis, disrupting lipid raft architecture and downstream oncogenic lipid signaling pathways. This inhibition impairs cell membrane homeostasis, diminishes tumor cell survival, and reduces lipid-dependent signaling cascades, ultimately suppressing cancer cell proliferation and promoting apoptosis across lipogenic tumor models.
