TEN-010 ((S)-JQ-35) is a small-molecule inhibitor targeting the Bromodomain and Extra-Terminal (BET) family of bromodomain-containing proteins. By selectively blocking the binding of BET proteins to acetylated lysine residues on histones, it disrupts chromatin remodeling and downregulates oncogenic transcriptional programs, including MYC gene expression. This suppression leads to cell cycle arrest and the induction of apoptosis in cancer cells. [1][2]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
