SKI II is a selective, non-ATP-competitive sphingosine kinase inhibitor targeting SphK (IC50 = without suppressing other kinases including PI3K, PKCα, and ERK2. By blocking sphingosine kinase, SKI II reduces intracellular sphingosine-1-phosphate levels, thereby blunting downstream pro-survival signaling pathways. Consequently, this compound effectively inhibits tumor cell proliferation and induces apoptotic cell death across multiple cancer cell lines. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
