Biological Activity

Salvianolic acid F is a KRAS inhibitor targeting KRAS G12D that suppresses NF-kB, MMP-9, and nitric oxide production. It attenuates the PI3K/AKT and EP300/PI3K/AKT signaling cascades, leading to reduced cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, as well as increased apoptosis. Furthermore, it inhibits KRAS-dependent lung cancer and ovarian cancer cell growth in experimental models.[1][2]
