PDGFR inhibitor 1 is a switch pocket control inhibitor targeting wild-type and mutated forms of KIT and PDGFR. By occupying the switch pocket, it disrupts kinase activation loops and inhibits secondary driver kinases including VEGFR2, TIE2, PDGFR-beta, and CSF1R. This multi-kinase inhibition suppresses downstream RTK-mediated signaling cascades, ultimately blocking tumor cell proliferation and impairing angiogenesis in cancer models.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
