ODM-207 is a selective bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) family inhibitor that is structurally unrelated to benzodiazepine-derived molecules. Selective inhibition of BET bromodomains prevents interactions with acetylated histones, disrupting chromatin remodeling and downregulating oncogenic transcriptional programs. In preclinical tumor models, ODM-207 displays potent antiproliferative activity, and its cellular efficacy is potentiated by targeting homologous recombination DNA repair pathways. [1][2]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
