Necrostatin 2 racemate (Nec-1s) is a potent, highly selective receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (RIPK1) inhibitor. As a stable derivative of necrostatin-1 lacking indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase off-target activity, it displays over 1000-fold selectivity for RIPK1 across human kinases. Nec-1s blocks RIPK1 kinase domain activation, preventing downstream RIPK1/RIPK3/MLKL necrosome complex assembly and effectively suppressing programmed necroptotic cell death. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
