N-Acetylcysteine amide (NACA) is a membrane-permeable antioxidant that functions by scavenging intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and replenishing cellular glutathione levels. It exhibits anti-inflammatory activity through the regulation and inhibition of NF-κB and HIF-1α signaling pathways. By attenuating oxidative stress and suppressing downstream pro-inflammatory mediators, NACA mitigates cellular apoptosis and protects cells from oxidative damage-induced toxicity.[1][2]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
