Kartogenin is a small-molecule inducer of chondrogenesis that promotes the selective differentiation of human multipotent mesenchymal stem cells into chondrocytes. It activates the Smad4/Smad5 pathway and modulates chondrogenic gene expression to facilitate cartilage repair and matrix synthesis. Furthermore, Kartogenin displays chondroprotective effects in osteoarthritis models by maintaining extracellular matrix integrity and promoting cartilage regeneration.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
