JX06 is a selective covalent inhibitor targeting pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 1 (PDK1), with inhibitory activity against PDK2 and PDK3. By inhibiting PDK1, JX06 restores pyruvate dehydrogenase complex activity, shifting cellular metabolism from aerobic glycolysis to mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. This metabolic reprogramming reduces lactate production and increases reactive oxygen species generation, ultimately suppressing cancer cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
