JIB-04 is a pan-selective Jumonji histone demethylase inhibitor that targets enzymes including JARID1A, JMJD2E, JMJD3, JMJD2A, JMJD2B, JMJD2C, and JMJD2D. By inhibiting these histone demethylases, JIB-04 modulates chromatin structure, alters epigenetic transcription programs, and interrupts oncogenic signaling pathways. Consequently, JIB-04 attenuates cancer cell proliferation, inhibits tumor growth in vivo, and effectively induces cell apoptosis.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
