Biological Activity

ISCK03 is a cell-permeable small-molecule inhibitor targeting the stem-cell factor (SCF) and c-Kit signaling pathway. By blocking SCF-induced receptor tyrosine phosphorylation of c-Kit, ISCK03 suppresses downstream activation of the ERK/MAPK pathway. This inhibition impairs c-Kit-mediated signaling cascades, ultimately modulating downstream cell proliferation, survival, and functional phenotypes dependent on active SCF/c-Kit signaling. [1]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
