Ilomastat (GM6001) is a potent inhibitor of MMP-1 (0.4±0.3 nM), MMP-2 (0.2±0.1 nM), MMP-7 (2.0±1.9 nM), MMP-9 (0.1±0.1 nM), and MMP-14 (0.5±0.1 nM). Ilomastat (GM6001) exhibits the greatest inhibitory potency toward MMP-9 (IC50 = 0.1±0.1 nM).
