Biological Activity

HG-10-102-01 is a potent and selective leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) inhibitor, actively targeting wild-type LRRK2 and the LRRK2 G2019S mutant. By inhibiting LRRK2 kinase activity, HG-10-102-01 suppresses cellular autophosphorylation at Ser910 and Ser935. This inhibition blocks downstream signaling pathways, reducing neuroinflammation and protecting neurons from neurotoxicity in cell and animal models of Parkinson's disease. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
