Harmine Hydrochloride is a cell-permeable beta-carboline alkaloid that acts as a competitive inhibitor of ATP binding to DYRK1A, demonstrating selectivity over DYRK2, alongside inhibition of cdc-like kinases (CLKs), monoamine oxidases, PPARγ, and 5-HT2A serotonin receptors. Selective inhibition of DYRK1A attenuates tau phosphorylation and regulates NFAT-mediated transcriptional signaling, suppressing downstream cellular proliferation and modulating neurochemical signaling pathways.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
