APX-3330 (E3330) is a potent and selective inhibitor of apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease 1/redox effector factor 1 (APE1/Ref-1) that specifically targets its redox signaling function. By blocking APE1/Ref-1 redox activity, APX-3330 suppresses NF-kB DNA-binding activity and inhibits downstream gene expression in inflammatory and survival pathways. Consequently, this small molecule attenuates tumor cell proliferation, migration, and survival in preclinical cancer models. [1]
