DPI (Diphenyleneiodonium chloride) is an inhibitor of NADPH oxidase and functions as an irreversible, time- and temperature-dependent inhibitor of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). It also acts as a TRPA1 activator and selectively suppresses intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation. By targeting these enzyme complexes, DPI modulates downstream oxidative stress signaling pathways and attenuates cellular inflammatory phenotypes. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
