Caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) is a potent and specific inhibitor of NF-κB activation, exhibiting broad antioxidant, immunomodulatory, and anti-inflammatory activities. CAPE blocks the NF-κB signaling pathway by suppressing the phosphorylation and degradation of IκBα, which prevents nuclear translocation of transcription factors. Consequently, it suppresses downstream pro-inflammatory gene expression and modulates immune and cellular stress responses. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
