Bisantrene (CS1) is a potent and selective FTO inhibitor and anthracene derivative possessing anti-tumor activity. By inhibiting the m6A RNA demethylase activity of FTO, Bisantrene alters m6A RNA modifications, suppressing cancer stem cell self-renewal and downregulating immune evasion pathways. This targeted inhibition disrupts leukemic cell survival and enhances anti-tumor immune responses, demonstrating broad therapeutic potential in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
