BI033 is a selective inhibitor of BTB and CNC homology 1 (BACH1) that specifically targets the N-terminal region of the transcription factor. By disrupting the interaction between BACH1 and HDAC1, BI033 enhances H3K27 acetylation at BACH1 target gene loci.
