ARRY-382 is an orally bioavailable, highly selective inhibitor of colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R, c-Fms) with an IC50 of. By blocking CSF1R kinase activity, ARRY-382 inhibits CSF-1-mediated signaling pathways, suppressing downstream phosphorylation events required for macrophage survival, differentiation, and proliferation. Consequently, inhibition of CSF1R reduces the accumulation and polarization of tumor-associated macrophages within the tumor microenvironment. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
