Apramycin Sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that targets the decoding A-site of bacterial 16S ribosomal RNA. By binding to the deep groove of the 16S rRNA, it disrupts translational fidelity, interferes with translocation, and potently inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Consequently, this target engagement suppresses bacterial cell growth and exerts broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against various Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacterial strains.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
