A-205804 is a potent inhibitor of cell adhesion molecule expression, targeting E-selectin and intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1). By suppressing the upregulation of E-selectin and ICAM-1 on endothelial cells, this compound attenuates leukocyte adhesion and transendothelial migration. Consequently, it inhibits pro-inflammatory cell adhesion cascades, downregulating downstream vascular inflammatory signaling and immune cell recruitment during tissue responses. [1]
