A-1155463 Dihydrochloride is a potent and selective BCL-XL inhibitor that exhibits high selectivity over other BCL-2 family proteins, such as BCL-2 and MCL-1. By disrupting interactions with pro-apoptotic proteins, it blocks BCL-XL anti-apoptotic activity, triggering mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization and inducing apoptosis in BCL-XL-dependent cancer cells. This agent effectively impairs cell viability and enhances sensitivity to chemotherapeutic agents in preclinical cancer models. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
