Venlafaxine HCl is a potent serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) that selectively inhibits the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine (NE). By blocking the serotonin transporter (SERT) and norepinephrine transporter (NET), it enhances monoaminergic neurotransmission in the central nervous system. This inhibition increases extracellular levels of 5-HT and NE, modulating downstream synaptic signaling pathways involved in neuronal communication. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
