Sesamin is a naturally occurring lignan that acts as a potent modulator of lipid metabolism and inflammatory signaling pathways. It promotes fatty acid oxidation and suppresses lipogenesis by regulating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα) signaling. Additionally, sesamin inhibits NF-κB activation and downstream pro-inflammatory cytokine expression, leading to reduced inflammatory responses and attenuation of cellular oxidative stress. [1][2]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
