Rutin (Rutoside) is a natural flavonol glycoside that exhibits potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and vasoprotective activities. It downregulates pro-inflammatory pathways by suppressing NF-κB activation and MAPK signaling, leading to reduced expression of TNF-α and IL-6. Additionally, Rutin scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibits lipid peroxidation, thereby enhancing cellular resistance against oxidative injury and reducing microvascular permeability. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
