Nafamostat mesilate is a synthetic broad-spectrum serine protease inhibitor and anticoagulant. It acts by inhibiting key proteolytic enzymes involved in coagulation and inflammatory cascades, including tryptase, thrombin, factor Xa, and kallikrein. By preventing serine protease-mediated envelope fusion and cell signaling activation, nafamostat suppresses viral entry, reduces eosinophil infiltration, and attenuates airway hyperresponsiveness and cellular inflammation in animal models. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
