Mechanism and Biochemical Profile

Plinabulin selectively binds to the colchicine-binding site on tubulin to promote rapid tubulin depolymerization, thereby disrupting endothelial cell microtubule networks and inducing collapse of the tumor vasculature. This targeted vascular disruption leads to localized tumor necrosis and anti-angiogenic activity, providing therapeutic efficacy in clinical investigations for conditions such as non-small cell lung cancer and chemotherapy-induced neutropenia.
