Manidipine 2HCl is a lipophilic, third-generation dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that acts as a potent inhibitor of voltage-gated calcium channels. By blocking voltage-dependent inward calcium currents in vascular smooth muscle cells, it reduces intracellular calcium levels and induces systemic vasodilation. Furthermore, manidipine suppresses vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and DNA synthesis while promoting glycosaminoglycan synthesis.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
