Divalproex Sodium is a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor that modulates target gene expression by promoting histone hyperacetylation in target cells. By inhibiting HDAC activity, it regulates chromatin remodeling and transcriptional machinery, downstream influencing neuronal survival pathways and cellular differentiation.
