Deflazacort is a synthetic glucocorticoid receptor agonist that functions as an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agent. Upon binding to the glucocorticoid receptor, it modulates gene transcription to inhibit proinflammatory signal transduction pathways, including NF-kB signaling. Consequently, this suppresses downstream mediator synthesis and immune cell proliferation, leading to reduced inflammatory responses and effective suppression of autoimmune activity. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
