CCT129202 is an ATP-competitive pan-Aurora kinase inhibitor targeting Aurora A (IC50 = 0.042 μM; Ki = 49.8 nM), Aurora B (IC50 = 0.198 μM), and Aurora C (IC50 = 0.227 μM). It demonstrates high selectivity for Aurora kinases over other kinases such as FGFR3, GSK3β, and PDGFRβ. Treatment with CCT129202 disrupts cell cycle progression, causing accumulation of cells with 4N DNA content, inhibition of cellular proliferation, and induction of apoptosis in human tumor cells.
